If you are loyal to Muhammad ( pbuh ) - updated

If-you-are-loyal-to-Muhammad
“ If you are loyal to Muhammad ( Peace and blessings be upon him ) then We are yours. What is the world even the Divine Pen and Tablet are yours ”

The lines above are taken from Below article written by Dr. Musharraf Hussain. There is no doubt that our Prophet Muhammad ( Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam ) is extremely important to us.We, Muslims, but how it pans out, really, how does his love, his affection, his guide, his way of life unfold for us mere mortals to understand and emulate him. What goes awry when we wear like him, want to become like him, to have his name like our own, however, our actions contradicts his actions and words. He suffered struggles, commercial transactions, fought battles, yet his never allowed his actions to be conducted unfairly. It may be that few of us have not really understood that Islam is largely a concept of life!

Certainly for me the only way to be loyal to Muhammad ( Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam ) is when we are fair to all! Have a wonderful day and please both me and my family and everyone who are not able to raise his/her voice against oppression and suffer silently to remember.

Mercy For All - by Dr. Musharraf Hussain

The marvelous religion of Islam relies almost exclusively on two main sources. First, the most impressive and motivation of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ( Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam ) and secondly figure surprisingly eloquent and the Quran. Together, both of these sources provide hearty direction, wisdom and powerful means of development as well as a perfect way of human life. In fact, we can affirm that for a Muslim to live a full life without fault and without blame on earth and thus achieve the highest status in the Akhira (the hereafter) program is contained within these two sources.

The Qur'an is described as containing guidance and direction on all matters which affects human life, addition to being a complete remedy cure for every disease of the the heart and the limitless source of mercy for all humankind. The Prophet Muhammad ( Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam ) is described in a similar way as Burhan - the clear evidence, mercy to mankind and a model of perfection, which owns every moral attribute humanly possible or conceivable moral attributes.

Thus it is no wonder that when his favourite wife and the most beloved person in his life Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) was asked to describe the character of our beloved messenger, she simply said, “ His character was the Qur'an ” - that is, he was the Qur'an walking, the Qur'an talking, the Qur'an living.

Here I want to explore a little as to how the Messenger ( Peace Be Upon Him) is praised by Allah ( Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala ) and the highest esteem in which our Lord holds our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him). The following verses show how much Allah ( Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala ) loves, cares for and cherishes His creation:

Allah granted a great favor to the believers by sending a Messenger from their own people to recite to them Allah's revelations, to purify them of moral defects, to teach them the Book, and to give them wisdom. Before this they had lived in manifest error.

; Glorious Qur'an: ( 3:164 )

A Messenger from your own people has come to you. Your destruction and suffering is extremely grievous to him. He really cares about you and is very compassionate and merciful to the believers.

; Glorious Qur'an: ( 9:128 )

Abdullah Yusuf Ali comments on this verse, “ the Master tender heart was grieved that anyone among his flock should rush to ruin. Look earnestly upon them and every time either of them are showing signs of the faith his goodness and mercy around him and rejoice upon him ”

Muhammad ( Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam ), We have sent you for no other reason but to be a mercy for mankind.

; Glorious Qur'an: ( 21:107 )

Allah ( Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala ) has blessed the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) with many excellent qualities; surely a perfect way portray those qualities of his character the impeccability of his disposition and the excellence of his personality as well as the high esteem in which our Creator says. These verses of the Qur'an fluently sing its praises. On the one hand, that reveal the greatness, the glory and majesty of the Prophet, whereas on the other hand side show the generosity of Allah ( Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam ). So much so that one is obligated to exclaim, as Jami said:

Oh most beautiful, Oh leader of mankind To praise you as you deserve is just not possible After the almighty Allah you are the most noble

That is the story in short

A Punjabi poet Pir Mehr Ali Shah very correctly voiced this human inability to fully grasp the greatness of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), when he penned:

“ Glory is to Allah how beautiful, how wonderful and how perfect you are, where is Mehr Ali? And where is your praise? On what have these irreverent eyes befallen? ”

However the verse “ We only sent you as a mercy to all mankind ” is broad and summarizes precisely all of these qualities. It is a mirror that reflects the wonders of the beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) in all its glory. To paraphrase it, the verse says: “ Oh, dear The glorious book, the perfect religion, the noble character, strong arguments, clear signs and wondrous miracles have blessed him - the purpose of all this is that you can be the mercy for all those who follow thee and those who are strangers ”.

The word “ Rahma ” means to have mercy, compassion and be friendly. Mercy and compassion leads to empathy, which in turn motivates one to be friendly. The Prophet ( Peace and blessings be upon him ) shows empathy - “ your suffering would cry him ” - and then he is kind, compassionate and merciful.

Those contemporaries who had the enviable forward “ the mercy for all ” fortune were entirely and nearly effortless transformed by the an excellent model they saw before them. Wryly, before the arrival of Islam, these same people were among the most ignorant, the most cruel, the rudest and the most brutal group of people that ever existed, with their ignorance and brutality of the pre-Islamic era Jahiliyyah and customs, which were rooted for centuries in total darkness.

However, the epitome of perfection that the Prophet (peace be upon him) life is all darkness turned the headlights dazzling light, because in the space of a few years, the Arabs became more civilized, the best educated and the most enlightened of all the people. A burning zeal for spirituality, religion, and the conquest reform spread all over the whole of the Arabian Peninsula, all by the inspiring and the living example of an extraordinary figure ( Peace be upon Him ).

We just have to look at the world around us to see how ineffective and inadequate we feel when we look at the plight of our Palestinians brethrens or degrading our ruthless brethrens of our own religion. Our beloved Prophet ( Peace be upon Him ) had much more to deal with in terms of things that were in desperate need of a change in the world and the society around him. He did not have such things as the mass media, Internet blogs,

24-hour news, newspaper propaganda, monetary resources, social media or any of the modern means of a change that affects at his disposal. However, he was able to perform and the amazing transformation in how people thought, behaved, lived, worshiped, interacted with others and much more besides all by his profound preaching and amazing character, a character that above all was imbued with the sympathy and a sense of justice and equity.

When Muslims were persecuted ruthlessly in Makkah for the unpardonable crime of embracing Islam, with their livelihoods threatened and their lives under perpetual siege, they came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and asked him ( Peace be upon Him ) to curse the Makkans who committed this oppression and persecution against the new Muslims, because their curses are believed rightly supernatural powers to harm the damned.

However the beloved Prophet ( Peace be upon Him ), upon listening of this, refused to indulge in this pernicious but nevertheless justifiable vendetta against his former brethrens and just said in a compassionate, clement voice said, “ I have been sent for no other reason but as a Mercy for mankind. So! be patient ”. “ It was this compassion, this leniency and the mercy that allowed Islam spread like wildfire all over the world within a astonishingly short space of just a few short years!

Allama Aloosi gives spiritual interpretation of the verse, “ He come as a mercy for all in the sense that everything derives Divine grace through him, he is the conduct, the channel ”.That is why the Prophet (peace be upon him) light was created before the creation of anything else. There is a Hadith which says: “ O Jabir Allah ( Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala ) created the first light of His Prophet ” and in another hadith is narrated that the Holy Prophet ( Peace be upon Him ) said, ” Allah is the giver and I am the distributor ”.

One of the best Muslim poets and philosopher Allama Muhammad Iqbal expresses extremely moving and most eloquent of this unique and unparalleled condition of our beloved Prophet ( Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam ) in one of his famous poems as follows:

He is the wisest of all, the final Prophet, and the master of all Who gave the dust the brilliance of Mount Sinai
From the vantage point of passion and love He is the first and the last; the Quran, the criterion, Yaseen and Taha

In conclusion, I want to say that “ mercy to mankind ” represents the love of Allah ( Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala ) to all people equally deserve and deserve, the righteous and the wicked, the righteous and sinners, and moral depravity, the saint and the dissolute. Many Muslims affirm that they are the chosen people in the sense that they are in a prime position to be the special target of the mercy of Allah, as having the best and the last prophet as their savior (liberator), having a perfect religion for a living template.

Such being the case, no additional responsibilities appendaged relevant special privileges? If we deceive ourselves into thinking that we are Allah's favorite, we should not feel an extra sense of responsibility for the world improvement we live in as Allah’s “ chosen ” vicegerents on earth? As such, we then not take much of the blame for the horrific disaster that the world is currently undergoing, especially the religious mess that is largely due to our own stupidity that clouds the mind and our terrible failure to solve our petty infighting?

We are always full of vacuous nonsense of the Ummah (nation) being one body and blow a lot of hot air about the crucial importance of the unity in Islam and yet demonstrate our missing religiosity and our spiritual bankruptcy endlessly when we look at over and over again no two scholars agree on the same Islamic ruling. The beautiful and perfect religion of Islam has become a tragic synonym for all that is ridiculous, absurd and comedian, let alone barbaric and intolerant. All of this is due to the way in which we, his “ special recipients ”, portray and represent for the whole world to see.

Allah ( Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala ) favors us only as “ His chosen people ” if and only if we go by his religious principles wholeheartedly, properly and completely. The blessings that the Almighty will then shower over us will be unlimited and Allama Muhammad Iqbal reminds us of this divine promise in the following two lines:

“ If you are loyal to Muhammad ( Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam ) we are yours; This universe is nothing, the Tablet and the Pen are yours. ”
